Annapurna Kitchen

About This Volume

Volume I gave Annapurna Kitchen a month-by-month menu system: twelve season cards, seven-day rotations and 83 recipes. This companion volume deepens the kitchen's repertoire. It adds 169 further recipes — none repeated from Volume I — organised by course rather than by month, so a cook can open the right section and find a dish that fits the season, the guest and the day.

Before the recipes, Part A summarises what current research and regulation say about feeding people over 55 in India, about texture-modified food, about Ayurveda's classical restorative foods, and about cookware. Part C turns the recipes into twelve monthly menu plans, festival thalis and ingredient profiles; Part D is a complete, categorised list of the ingredients and tools a sattvic kitchen of this size needs, with buying, storage and quantity guidance.
